Xbox Live launches app to stream all Paramount movies

Paramount Pictures and Microsoft announced the launch of a joint app today that lets users stream all Paramount movies on their Xbox 360 gaming console. “This app offers users instant access to view any Paramount movies on their Xbox 360 console that they purchase from the Paramount Movies Web site,” an Xbox Live spokesperson told CNET in an e-mail. “The catalog of premium movies is continuing to grow as new titles are released from the studio.”

Open Garden, New Smartphone App for Open Network

A new smartphone app called ‘Open Garden’ is launched for Android, Windows and Mac devices which allows users to share mobile Web access for free with other people nearby who have the same app. When there is no direct Internet connection in the network, the app accesses the Web through links to other devices such as laptops or mobile phone. If the person whose connection is being shared leaves the network, the app automatically connects to the next best connection.

Angry Birds Utopia update that brings New 10-levels

A new update of Angry Birds – Angry Birds Utopia – arrives on Android. The update that was meant only for iOS and Rovio about a week ago, is now available for Android users. This new update will add 10 new levels. Named “Utopia,” the upgrade features levels filled with popcorn, cookies, and candy apples.
